At the first meeting we try to arrange some basic design guidelines with the client. We get familliar with the project, deadlines and other important parameters. Then we try to gather as much information about the client and his project, product, service or the existing status on the market. We shortly focus our client through our expert opinion and try to find a „common language“. The most important thing is that the client is satisfied, the project functional, aimed audience informed and material resources intended for the project are optimally used.
In this phase we analyze gathered data and define strategies, i.e. the course in which the project will develop. Every part of the project is specially analyzed, elements are defined correctly and precisely, and information is organised. A creative „brief“ is being held in which the client and designer should agree on following data: name of project, product, service or market information, goals of communication, certain aimed group, existing perception of the aimed group about the brand, what is wanted for the uttermost users to do – call for action, type and format of applied design, media, given parameters, deadlines, budget etc. Designing concept is a frame for all decisions needed to be made during project realisation. It is the most demanding part of the designing process and it requires great work, intelligence, skill, creativity, talent and experience, also including multiple steps: defining the designing problem, preparation – gathering and questioning materials, generating and choosing ideas, and verification of ideas.
The chosen concept is visualised in the design phase. It starts with complete empathy for the project theme and the way how the aimed group looks at a product or service. Then it starts with creating small, rough, quick sketches. Research, visual thinking and dealing with problems is hastened in a short period while making sketches. A few best ideas that we come up with by sketching are then elaborated. Design concept is visualised on the computer in proportions and media type (classic or on-line solution) of the final product. Finished conceptual solutions are presented to the client. Mostly one to three different conceptual solutions are presented of which the client chooses one. That one is afterwards modified and again presented to the client.
In the end, a final product chosen by the client is implemented. A preparation for printing is made for printed materials, which is forwarded to a client or a selected printing office (in our arrangement) in digital form. The designer oftenly engages in checking proof sheets and observance of the print. In digital publishing we create a simpler web page which is later forwarded to our web developer or programmer, depending on the complexity of the project. In this case we also do SEO optimisation which presents different methods and tehniques that apply to a web page, and out of it, with the goal of achieving higher rankings on search engines, such as Google, Bing, Yahoo. Regarding digital advertising services, we also deal with advertising through social networks (facebook, twitter, google+, linkedin...) that are today's most powerful ways of advertising. For example, there are 120000 Facebook users in Croatia alone.
